After reading my last post, I’m sure a question that might be asked is – ‘ok, so did you actually retain anything from Mike A’s cooking class? Or did you just forget everything like one might think? I am notorious for going through a class, learning a bunch of stuff, thinking I know it, then leaving… Just ask the Zund people. Course, that was kind of boring and a ton of shit to learn in a couple days.
So the answer is Yes. I am comfortable making crepes, crepe filling, crepe topping, and whip cream – I feel like I can make all sorts of crepes. There really is no end to what a crepe actually is – I want to make more crepes. My wife was a little butt hurt about not getting any leftovers from the class – so I made her some ultra bad-ass crepes – just ask her if I learned anything:
Blueberry, and barenjaeger honey caramel apples – almond whipped cream – TIGHT.
I could eat that all the time.
